Haven't checked in for a while... Busy at work on the last half of my manuscript. All is well! I'm looking forward to Resurrection Day tomorrow and the wonderful celebration of our hope in Jesus! Happy Easter to everyone.

I was so pleased and encouraged to receive a one-page note from the great poet and author Ms. Nikki Giovanni today. I can't thank her enough for taking the time to read "Love Is" and for writing me a kind letter of encouragement. She is a true artist with words, including the poem I adore, "If Only". I'm grateful for her kindness as I strive to become a better writer with each swipe of the pen...
I hope everyone's 2013 is already proving to be a spectacular year. For those who've asked, I am currently working on the sequel to Love Is and it's an exciting literary journey for me! I absolutely love the story, but all I can tell you is Book Two picks up exactly where Love Is left off. So all the questions you had when the story ended will be answered -- along with several new irresistible plot lines. I do not have a release date yet, but I will keep you informed!
All my best... ~Ci'Monique I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and experienced the unsearchable love of Jesus. I didn't want to let this year close out without posting again and sharing my anticipation for an exciting New Year. In all honesty, the past years and decade have been some doozies, but I finally am looking forward to some unexpected goodness :-) I turned 40 this past March and am usually not big on milestones, but 2012 actually panned out to be pretty thrilling. I pray the best for all of you, and look to share some great things in 2013!
It's so sweet of those of you who've taken the time to send me a letter, card, or leave me a Facebook message or Guest Book note. I'm glad you're enjoying the story! It really makes my day - especially being an unknown artist out in the big, big world of book publishing. Have a great Thanksgiving next week!
Today marks the day I've been waiting a long time for, but it's also a very sobering one right now. After looking at more pictures of Hurricane Sandy a few hours ago and reading news stories about the people who have died, so many other things in life can seem insignificant. My heart hurts for those suffering loss... even if I never knew them. Our world is changing so drastically and so quickly - I just ask the Lord to give us the peace to endure. My prayers are with everyone reeling from the wake of the hurricane. Cherish every breath because no one knows what tomorrow holds.
Hey Everybody - Things have been moving pretty quickly over the last couple weeks. The great news is: Love Is As Strong Is Death is now available to buy in all formats on Amazon! It will take a few weeks for other retailers, but alas, it's out there! Thanks for all the positive feedback so far... I took a long, relaxing hike on Mt. Lowe today before getting back to work next week. For those who don't know -- I'm already working on Book Two after Love Is :)
Wow, I didn't even realize that the e-format was available for purchase! I received a message that someone purchased the book from Amazon... Awesome! (Thanks, Eleanor). I just visited the Kindle store and Barnes & Noble site, and YES my book is listed :-) A great day already...
I was gonna post this on the guest book, but realized I shouldn't be signing my own guest book :-) I wanted to thank you guys for visiting the site and emailing me with such encouragement and excitement. I hope all is well with each of you!
It's been an exciting, exhausting week. I just posted my book trailer and am ready to launch the site! Still have a little over a month to go before the pre-release, but I'm looking forward to getting feedback soon.

The AuthorCi'Monique is simply uncomplicated; in love with the everydailies of life and always exploring rich layers of conversation with anyone who crosses her path. Made much stronger by adversities she wouldn't trade for anything, she understands what it means to ride out a storm until restoration meets us again. Archives
